Charli XCX – How I’m Feeling Now

On April 6, 2020 Charli XCX held a Zoom conference to make an announcement after blacking out her social media. On May 15th, she’ll release an album, currently under the working title “How I’m Feeling Now.”

Since then, things have happened rapidly. She’s teased screenshots of texts with AG Cook, Dylan Brady and others; she’s played snippets of the first upcoming track “Forever” out April 9; and has invited fans to be a part of the album art creation. She asked fans to vote on a series of photos to be used for the first album art. According to her instagram post, she’ll be collaborating with Seth Bogart, Caroline Polachek, and Regards Coupables

ok so i’ve decided to select image number 2 as the basis for the artwork for “Forever”. Thanks everyone for helping me decide 💕 i am really excited to announce that I will be making 3 official artworks for this song and am honored that @sethbogartofficial @carolineplz and @regards_coupables will each be interpreting this photo in their own way to create 3 unique pieces of “Forever” art. Im such a fangirl of all three artists and to collaborate on artwork like this is a new experience for me. I like the idea that the visual language for this project can be interpreted by however someone feels towards the music. The music and the emotions that are generated guide the creative output and anything is possible 🖤 my idea is to be able to auction all the pieces of art created through this album process once the album is release and donate the money to a charity who are actively helping people through this current global pandemic 💓

Stan Twitter has been ablaze, crafting theories, memes about releasing Taxi, and generally being excited. Twitter use bodyofmyown has pieced together a credible theory that HIFN was intended to be XCX5 (in the lingo of stan twitter…)
