Time for June’s playlist of hyperpop and everything else I’m listening to.
Started the month with Twice releasing “More & More.” Ending the month with Blackpink’s “How You Like That.” Add in Teyana Taylor (who is having Erykah Badu as a midwife for her home birth — iconic). A great month overall for music in the Kpop and R&B world.
Hyperpop had a lot of great releases as well. Alice Longyu Gao with a great little quarantine tune, with a remix by Gupi. Fraxiom and Mood Killer collaborated on a track “Alien,” with some great MIB related memes. Some folks who also post regularly in the fb group PC Music Shitposting are also making a come up (“It’s Love” by recovery girl and diana starshine). Recovery girl also did a remix for Dorian Electra (and it’s a stunner).
